Paper Plate Cat Mask

Cut two small holes in each side and thread through your string. Paint the back of the plate black and leave to dry then carefully cut out two eye holes. Cut out two circle eyes at the top of the plate. Take a paper plate and turn it over to the blank non eating side.

Cut your paper plate in half also cut a small notch for your nose. Punch a small hole on either side of the mast and thread through the elastic tying tightly to each hole. Draw two round eyes and carefully cut them out. Paint or color the paper plate black or buy black plates.

You will want the mask area to be a little larger than half. Use the scraps of paper to make the eyes and nose and two ears. Cut 3 short pieces of black wool and glue them to the centre of the mask to be whiskers. This mask could be made at pre school kindergarten or even primary school.
